Energy North Group Gives 895 Free Lunches to Logan Airport TSA Employees

Lawrence, MA – February 5, 2019 – Energy North Group (ENG), with support from its vendor partners Snyder’s-Lance, Frito-Lay and Pepsi, provided 895 lunches to Logan Airport Transportation Security Administration (TSA) employees during the recent partial government shutdown. TSA employees were offered one free lunch per day consisting of a freshly-made sandwich, snack-size bag of chips and fountain drink at the Energy North Gulf at Logan Airport.

“Giving out free lunch was the least we could do for them while they worked without pay,” said Jonathan Ketchum, Vice President of Retail, Energy North Group. “We wanted to make things a little easier for them while they helped keep our skies safe.”

ENG also provided 3,500 gas gift cards (1,750 Mobil and 1,750 Gulf) to Massport for distribution to the TSA workforce. Each gift card was loaded with $20. Massport handled the distribution of these gift cards.
