Mobil-Branded Fuel Station Returns To Bangor, Maine Region

Lawrence, MA, November 19, 2020 – Energy North Group (ENG) is proud to announce that its newly-acquired gas station and convenience store located at 435 Wilson Street in Brewer, Maine, has been rebranded as a Mobil station. Providing customers in the Bangor region with access to the brand for the first time in nearly a decade, this location is poised to have a great impact on the local community, especially with regard to job creation in the area. Distributors and retailers will also be able to purchase Exxon- and Mobil-branded gasoline and diesel from ENG for their own sites.

Shoppers will have access to ExxonMobil’s wide offering of benefits, such as:

  • Loyalty savings through the Exxon Mobil Rewards+ program which allows customers to earn points for every purchase they make, which can be saved and used for future purchases on fuel, car washes, coffee and more.
  • Contactless payments through the Exxon Mobil Rewards+ app, Amazon’s “Alexa, pay for gas,” and the new 2-in-1 “tap and pay” technology.
  • The Shaw’s Grocery Rewards program relationship where consumers can save up to $1 per gallon by shopping at any Shaw’s or Albertsons participating banner stores.
  • ExxonMobil’s Synergy gasoline and diesel products, which have been engineered to improve gas mileage and vehicle performance.

“We are thrilled to bring a Mobil-branded retail fuel station back to the City of Brewer,” said ExxonMobil’s Northeast Retail Sales Manager Sean Casey. “We look forward to continued opportunities to grow and support the Bangor and Brewer communities.”

“ENG is honored to facilitate ExxonMobil’s return to the Bangor region,” said Pat O’Connell, Executive Vice President, Energy North Group. “This location will give local residents, distributors and dealers access to a high-quality product they haven’t had in quite a while. We look forward to growing the brand in central Maine as we already have in southern Maine!”
